Depremathon Civil Society Committee

Three devastating earthquakes has recently struck Türkiye, resulting in the loss of 50,000 lives and the destruction of 10 cities. With the immediate rescue efforts now complete, the civil society is considering options for access to accommodation, safety, food, health and education. It is estimated that millions of people will need to be relocated. Therefore, as the civil society actors in Türkiye, we have formed Depremathon - Civil Society Committee to enable coordination and dialogue among the NGOs, private sector and the governmental organizations.

The organizations and people here come together for communication and coordination with the working environments called Depremathon (Earthquakeathon). Institutions and individuals discuss solutions for earthquake survivors and move forward independently with groups that want to lead from among them.
